Use the Clip geoprocessing tool to clip the Roads, Parcels and Building footprints feature classes to the Data_Extent polygon.Too much data may cause performance issues. Typically this should be a small area of only a few blocks. Create a new rectangle polygon in the Data_Extent feature class and draw the box around the data you want to use in CityEngine.
